The Tigers overcame a gallant Timboon Demons outfit 11.17 (83) to 4.5 (29) at Merrivale on Saturday.
Sobey said the Tigers had been inaccurate around the sticks three weeks in a row and it was something he would look into.

The Tigers booted 23.23 in round one and 3.11 in round two before their 11.17 effort on the weekend.
Otherwise, the Dees really made the Tiges earn the win.
"We certainly didn't play the way we hoped," Sobey said.
"Credit to Timboon they did pressure us pretty well over the four-quarter period which is expected when you play Timboon."
The positive Sobey did draw from the win was his players applied plenty of pressure around the ball - something he felt the Tigers let themselves down in against Kolora-Noorat in round two.
He said the Tigers were working hard and bringing great energy but needed to execute better.
Merrivale, which got through Saturday's game unscathed, is also waiting on the return of several players.
"We've probably six or seven coming back in the next week or two," Sobey said.
The likes of James Fary, Todd Mclean, Tyler Stephens and recruit Joe Lehehan are among those names.
Charlie McDonald played his first year game of the year on Saturday.
Luke Byrne was the Tigers' leading goal-kicker with three majors and Jalen Porter was named best player.
Ben Newey was named the Dees' best.
Merrivale got off to a strong start, leading by 21 points at quarter-time and stretched the margin to 29 points by the main break.
The Tigers play Dennington while Timboon Demons meet Allansford in round four.
