The undefeated Power accounted for Russells Creek, coming away with a 15.10 (100) to 7.16 (58) victory on Saturday at Mack Oval.
"It was pretty hard work, it was a good win in the end," playing-coach Ben Walsh said.
"Russells Creek were really impressive it was a pretty hot contest around the footy and they played a fast style."

Walsh said Ben Reid "had a good game out on the wing" and the youngster was named Kolora-Noorat's best.
Recruit Jacob Mahony (Camperdown) was also among the Power's stars with seven goals.
He returned after being unavailable last week and was a welcome addition given centre half-forward Ben Fraser didn't play.
Walsh said Mahony played deep forward and was accurate around the sticks.
The Power coach can't wait to get Fraser and Mahony in the forward line together for the first time this season.
Walsh is expecting Fraser to be back for the away game against Nirranda on Saturday.
The Power mentor added midfielder Joel Moloney was a late out after coming up sore from the Power's round two win.
Will Black made his senior debut for the Power.
