Hoy (36.27 minutes) took out the Albert Park Virtual Duathlon sprint course ahead of talented youngster Riley Ontronen (37.53) and Andrew Nadaraj (37.53).
Dowie (42.53) was the fastest female followed by Karen Benson (44.58) and Ilana Jorgensen (46.18).
Team Prue and Kate was the quickest team in a time of 47.07.

The sprint course consisted of a three-kilometre run, 9km bike ride and 1.5km run.
Meanwhile, Steven Kearns won the male section of the short course in a time of 35.36 minutes.
Liz Lane was the fastest female in 47.18 while Team UPR was the winning team in 33.32.
The short course was 1.5km, a 6km ride and a 1.5km run.
It was a virtual event so participants completed the course on their own and submitted their time to the club. They had from October 23 to November 1 to complete a course.
President Ian Barnes was thrilled to have 51 participants.
