The club's weekly Friday competition returns on November 20 in a COVID-safe way after months of planning and waiting on easing of restrictions.
WLAC, which announced their return on its Facebook page, hopes to run four weeks of competition before Christmas with six more to come in 2021.
Registrations are not open yet as capacities to provide a safe season are still being determined.
The first four Friday nights will see a maximum group size of 10 children, plus helpers.
Athletes will be allocated to a group, a possible combination of age and gender, which they must stay in for the night. Those over 12 will need to wear a mask whilst not competing.
A cap on registration numbers is possible with priority given to families that indicate they can fulfil helper roles.
Each child must have a nominated parent/guardian in attendance at the event and no spectators are allowed. An additional adult can be assigned to a helper role.

Depending on numbers the club will be running two one-hour sessions, one starting at 4.45pm and another at 6.00pm. Three events will run per night, either as two track, one field or one track, two field.
An additional, optional mid-week session for distance events could also be available for under nine to 16 age groups.
All attendees will need to register each night. All children need to be fully paid up or registered as a trialling member.
There will be no refunds if competition is cancelled due to weather, Covid constraints or other unforeseen circumstances, but Little Athletics Victoria will be offering a 15 per cent discount for returning families.
WLAC hopes it can get through as much of its season as possible.
It is also asking anyone wanting to help for the first four weeks of the season to contact the club on its Facebook page or its website.
The roles to be filled are eight field and eight track event assistants, group leaders for each group of 10 and four COVID-safe officers.
