Morning news

There's news from the Warrnambool City Council chambers, with three councillors slammed by the mayor for not attending a "crucial" budget preparation meeting. 

Police believe the tractor involved in Tuesday morning's fatal collision at Dartmoor had been stolen. The tractor driver was killed when he veered into the path of an oncoming truck. 

An head-on smash at Tarrington yesterday afternoon left one woman seriously injured and five others, including a seven-month-old baby, hurt. The woman was flown to Melbourne's The Alfred hospital.

The Terang Co-Op has announced a double pronged expansion, saying it will take over Wallace Plumtech in Terang and a Camperdown Hardware store. 

In sport, Hamilton Kangaroos captain Kane Uebergang was found guilty of unbecoming conduct at the independent tribunal last night and will miss two matches.  

And we speak with Warrnambool Basketball export Maddy White about her team switch in US College Basketball.
