A series of police raids in the Corangamite region will culminate with five people appearing in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Friday.
That follows the alleged seizures of six guns, 40 cannabis plants and the separate arrest of a Camperdown man, who was caught with ice worth $20,000.
On Thursday detectives from Warrnambool police crime investigation unit arrested five people following a spate of alleged burglaries in the Camperdown region.
Officers were investigating alleged burglaries in Manifold Street, Hamilton Street and Church Street, along with other Corangamite locations during the past few weeks.
Information led to the executing of a warrant at an address in Longmore Street in Camperdown about 11am on Thursday.
Officers allegedly seized a range of property including ebikes, clothing, tools, electrical goods and a stone gargoyle.
A 37-year-old man, a 39-year-old man, a 31-year-old woman, a 41-year-old man and a 37-year-old man were arrested at the address.
They were interviewed, charged and remanded in custody overnight Thursday to appear in court on Friday for bail/remand hearings.
Detective Acting Sergeant Elissa Smith said a significant amount of stolen property was recovered.
She valued the items at well in excess of $5000.
"It was a very pleasing result," she said.
On Wednesday:
A Camperdown man, 32, has been refused bail on serious drugs charges and remanded in custody until December 6.
Ben Arundell, of Harrison Street, Camperdown, appeared in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Wednesday for a bail/remand hearing.
He made an unsuccessful self-represented bail application and was remanded in custody until early December.
Mr Arundell has been charged with trafficking and possessing methamphetamine, negligently dealing with the proceeds of crime and three counts of both handling or receiving stolen goods and committing offence while on bail.
On Tuesday: Police have continued a productive week raiding Corangamite properties, allegedly finding methamphetamine worth $20,000 at a Camperdown address on Tuesday morning.
Detective Acting Sergeant Elissa Smith, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said investigators backed by uniform officers executed a search warrant at a Harrison Street address in Camperdown.
During the search, officers located allegedly stolen property, including hand tools, a push bike, a laptop computer, a tool bag, power blower and a Makita drill.
"Also located and seized was an amount of cash and 28 grams of methamphetamine, as well as prescription medication," Detective Acting Sergeant Smith said.
"One man aged in his 30s was arrested in relation to the drugs and stolen property.
"He is yet to be interviewed, but is expected to be charged with offences and presented before the Warrnambool court for a bail/remand hearing either this afternoon or on Wednesday."
Detective Acting Sergeant Smith said a woman in her 30s was also arrested in relation to possession of prescription medication.
The police raid at Camperdown followed the execution of a warrant at Terang on Monday, during which police allegedly seized six firearms and 40 cannabis plants.
Two men were arrested.
On Monday:
Police say they have seized six firearms and 40 cannabis plants during a raid at Terang on Monday.
Sergeant Blake Amos, of the Warrnambool police divisional response unit, said a 28-year-old Terang man had been arrested, interviewed, charged and bailed with a number of offences.
He said police would allege the man was not licensed to possess firearms and he had guns belonging to people he knew, but who did not reside at the address that police raided.
"We executed a search warrant at a Terang address on Monday morning," he said.
"Five registered firearms and one unregistered firearm were seized by police members.
"There was also a small amount of ice located and 40 small cannabis plants. A knuckle duster/taser was also found and seized."
The 28-year-old man was charged with firearms and a weapon offence as well cultivating and possessing cannabis.
"Further investigations in relation to the firearms are being undertaken," Sergeant Amos said.
"The execution of this warrants serves as a warning to anyone unlicensed who has possession of firearms that police will come knocking.
"Firearms in the community is a major concern for Victoria Police. It's at the forefront of our thinking and we are taking action," he said.
A 45-year-old man was also arrested, but released without being charged while investigations continue.

At 2.30pm: A 28-year-old man and a 45-year-old man are currently assisting Warrnambool police investigators with their inquiries after a search warrant was executed in Terang on Monday morning.
Members of Warrnambool police divisional tasking unit, backed by uniform officers, allegedly seized firearms, prohibited weapons, drugs and a stolen motorcycle.
