The second-placed Roosters enter the bye on the back of a 62-33 drubbing of Portland at Friendly Societies' Park.
MORE NETBALL: Blood injured as undefeated Bombers flex muscles
They have seven wins, one loss and a draw to their credit having now played each of their rivals once.
Battistello said they now had a better understanding of what to expect from those aiming for finals in 2021.
"I hope we can play everyone twice. I think with the draw (being impacted due to COVID-19 reasons) we won't be able to," she said.
"Cobden are a terrific team. They are the benchmark for a reason; undefeated for a reason and will go into the second half feeling confident.
"Our first game was against Koroit and we won by a goal, so a pretty tight margin.
"You can't count out Koroit - they are one of the toughest sides.
"North are really building. The first quarter when we played them was almost even and we really took it from there.
"Warrnambool has gone on and gelled as a team too."
Battistello said the Roosters' ability to bounce back from their first loss of the season, to the Bombers last round, was significant.
"After you have a loss you can come away from it beaten and battered or you can come away from it making sure it doesn't happen again and using it to improve," she said.
A topsy-turvy opening term against Portland resulted in a 17-9 buffer the Roosters' way at quarter-time.
A 31 to 17 second half enabled them to put a significant gap on the Tigers, who now have a 2-7 win-loss record.
"We were so pleased with the way we played," Battistello said.
"We knew it was going to be a tough game against Portland. I don't think anyone has beaten them by more than 15 throughout the season.
"They are well drilled and have lots of experience with some great talented juniors.
"We knew it was going to be a four-quarter game. The first half we really consolidated with some things and then in the second half we played the netball we do play at South.
"We let ourselves go and enjoyed the game."
Battistello said the most pleasing aspect was the even contribution. "I couldn't pick best, I mean I did but it was begrudgingly," she said.
"We have 10 players and each of them got significant court time today.
"At South we drill it down to 'what's your role?' and the way we were able to move 10 players throughout the four quarters without skipping a beat I think is a testament to the way we played.
"I was super, super proud of the girls."
