The hard-running forward booted eight majors in the Saints' 23.21 (159) to 2.7 (19) rout of Terang Mortlake on Saturday as the reigning premier made it three wins from three matches.
Koroit coach Chris McLaren said Dobson was "in great touch".
"He kicked 8.8 plus a couple out on the full. He was real touch-and-go to play round one and he's been probably our best player for three weeks in a row now," he said.
"He started the '19 season this way and then got that big corkie against Portland that really slowed him up for six or eight weeks. It's really good to have him in good form."
McLaren said Dobson's versatility was on display against the Bloods.
"His fitness base is ridiculous so he can just get up and down the ground so much, plus his contested one-on-one marking means he's a difficult match up," he said.
"Anyone who can run with him probably can't go with him deeper one-on-one."
Koroit kicked seven unanswered goals in the first term to deflate its young opponent.
"A young side like Terang, it's really important to start well against those teams because if they sense that we're a bit off then those games can be tough," McLaren said.
Former captain Brett Harrington (sore knee) was a late withdrawal while McLaren said the Saints were "happy to be getting games in to" Clem Nagorcka, Mac Petersen, Paddy O'Sullivan and Jack O'Sullivan.
