The exciting key forward dislocated his right thumb in Bulldogs' VFL practice match win over Essendon, failed to play out the game after half-time and required hospital treatment.
The Western Bulldogs are yet to confirm the extent of his injury with it to become clearer in the coming days.
Ugle-Hagan again pushed his case for an early-season AFL debut with two goals before his injury against the Bombers.

The South Warrnambool export kicked five goals before three-quarter-time in a his first VFL practice match against Collingwood last week.
Coach Luke Beveridge said this week the Dogs wouldn't "throw him to the wolves" following the performance.
The 2016 premiership mentor is giving Ugle-Hagan time to work on his game playing for Footscray.
"He's still got a fair way to go and we've got to make sure that he's ready to be productive in winning games of footy for us," he said.
