She won the Warrnambool Golf Club women's championship on Wednesday after taking out the Western District Golf Association ladies championship at Port Fairy earlier this month.
She claimed the three-round competition with scores of 82, 75 and 75 (232) to edge out 11-time winner Alison Sinclair who hit 77, 87 and 79 (243).
Rix is thrilled to be enjoying a purple patch despite not able to play as much as she normally would.
"I haven't played a lot of golf and I just recently changed job so I've been a bit limited as to having days off to play golf," she said.
"But I was pleased to have a good round at Port Fairy (a fortnight ago), we played 27 rounds, and I had a play-off against Donna Weller."
Rix came from behind to win to her first Warrnambool club championship.

"The first week here I had 82 and Alison had a 77 so she was leading and I knew I had to hit my straps," she said.
"She (Alison) knows this course really well, she's played here a lot longer than I have."
Rix was pleased with the two rounds of 75 she produced to secure victory.
The Cobden resident has been a Warrnambool member for the past four years. She plays in the women's competition each Saturday.
The club champion said the Warrnambool course was in the best nick she had ever seen it.
"It's a pleasure to play, the greens are fast and true and I love that, I enjoy putting on good greens," she said.
Sue Haylock claimed the B grade with rounds of 97, 99 and 91 (287) ahead of Kathy Jenkins 95, 98 and 100 (293).
Jenny Day secured the C grade title with scores of 109, 115 and 109 (333). Runner-up Ann Glennon posted rounds of 111, 107 and 117 (335).
Sinclair was the A grade nett champion (216) with Sue Haylock and Di Goodall joint winners in B grade (230).
Jenny McMahon (223) was the C grade nett winner.
The Port Fairy Golf Club women's championship final round is on Saturday.
