The 14-year-old will compete alongside fellow WLAC member Jeff Collins in the two-day multi-event competition at Melbourne's Lakeside Stadium this weekend.
The duo will compete in the under 15 age group. They will do the 100 metres, discus and long jump on Saturday before tackling the 100-metre hurdles, 800 metres, high jump and javelin on Sunday.
Each event is scored based on performance and placing, which is similar to how points are done in decathlons.
If the pair do well they could score a spot in the Victorian team for the Australian Little Athletics Championships.
Suter said he would be jumping out of his comfort zone in a number of events in his first combine event championships.

The Athletics South West member, who is coached by Jeremy Dixon, said the 800, high jump and javelin were events he was unfamiliar with.
Mark Jansz has been helping Suter prepare for the Javelin ahead of the championship.
The Warrnambool College student said he aimed to try his best in every event to maximise his potential score and hopefully come away with a number of pbs.
"The 100 metres, long jump and discus are my three strongest events going into the weekend and I'm confident in them and they should be good scoring events," he said.
"I'll go into it thinking I know I can do it and that I just have to find that in me to get a good throw in javelin, a good 800 run.
"I have got to find it in me for those ones and the other events I know I can do it."
