The young gun took out the mixed under 14s event at the Meadowglen Gift on Sunday, adding to his under 14 success at Daylesford in 2019.
He registered an adjusted time of 11.58 seconds in the final.
Aubery said he had a handicap of nine metres for the 100-metre race at Meadowglen International Athletic Stadium in Epping.
The teenager wanted to "get out (of the blocks) faster" and he put that plan into action in his first gift program event of the season.
It was also the first gift of the Victorian Athletic League (VAL) season.
Aubery's long-term goal is to make the under 18 120m final at the Stawell Gift in April.
It will be the 139th running of the famous event in 2021.
But first his focus is the Warrnambool Gift program on Saturday, January 2 at Friendly Societies' Park.
The Warrnambool College year seven student is going to take on under 18 and under 14 events.
He's entered the 100m and 300m for both age categories. They are all mixed events.
"I'll be training three or four times a week and be in the gym other nights," he said of the lead up to the Warrnambool event.

Aubery runs with the Duynhoven Perry Sprinting stable based in Warrnambool.
Rob Duynhoven and Wayne Perry are his coaches.
The DPS stable will have a host of athletes in events on the Gift program.
Warrnambool-based track and field club Athletics South West Turbines will also have a strong contingent.
Aubery explained DPS training was either at Friendly Societies' Park or Mack Oval.
The youngster is excited by the chance to race at his home Gift.
He claimed fourth in the under 18 120m final last year.
Aubery explained why he started sprinting about two years ago.
"It's probably that my sister does it," he said.
Layla, his older sister, has also won significant events including the under 18 girls on the Ballarat Gift program two years in a row.
Aubery said he had stuck with the sport because he enjoyed the competitive and social side.
"You make a fair few friends," he said.
It had been a long wait for Aubery to compete again due to the pandemic causing a reshuffle of VAL calendar.
The Warrnambool Gift was on November 30 in 2019.
Prior to Meadowglen, his most recent VAL start was in March at Bendigo in an under 18 boys 120m event.
Aubery also plays football for North Warrnambool Eagles' under 14s in the Hampden league.
He plans to play footy again in 2021.
The tall youngster only got to play two matches in 2020 before the HFNL junior season was cancelled due to coronavirus pandemic concerns.
DPS athletes have also been competing in the Athletics Victoria Shield League, with Ballarat Harriers, since its return in late November.
Entries for the Warrnambool Gift close Wednesday, December 16.
Gift president Richard Wearmouth said VAL gave the January 2 event the official tick of approval in the past month after the state government's pandemic restrictions eased.
