Hamilton's Cicely Fenton has just become president of the SWCA and Koroit's Marie Coffey has taken on the vice-presidency.
"We've got a very supportive lot around us and there's no reason we shouldn't be able to achieve what we've been set out and that's the state regionals in April which Portland are hosting; but we all have our bit to do with it," Fenton said.

She is also on Hamilton Croquet Club's committee and first became involved with the sport about 15 years ago.
Fenton and Coffey played against each other in division three of the championships on Saturday at Warrnambool City Croquet Club.
It was singles play in the traditional association format. Players from across the region converged on Warrnambool's three courts.
SWCA was thrilled to bring the 2020 championships back to life after the event scheduled for earlier this year was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Coffey, also Koroit Croquet Club's president, finished runner-up to Portland's Jan Logan in division three.
She's been playing the game about 25 years.
"I was always a netballer and a tennis player and I hurt my knee," she said.
"When I had to go and get it fixed, in those days you were in hospital for a very long time, and I had four young children.
"And my mother played croquet so I decided to play croquet."

Meanwhile, Portland's Michael Edwards took out division two with Terang's Catherine Humphrey runner-up.
Hamilton's John Hayden triumphed in division four with Portland's Jeanette Sandeman finishing second.
There was no division one competition.
