The Roosters made 88 before the Cats chased it down in just under 15 overs.
Cutler, a quick bowler, has 11 wickets from his five matches.
He took three wickets in each of the three preceding games before Saturday.
"There's still room for improvement, I'll just keep working into the year and hopefully keep having some success," he said on Saturday.
Cutler added the Cats' fielding was on point against Wangoom.
"Our fielding is probably what we've been worried about," he said.
"We've dropped a few catches and been sloppy in the field lately but we were pretty good today, it was probably the best fielding we've had all year."
Cutler switched to Hawkesdale after playing two seasons with College Cricket Club in the Hamilton District Cricket Association.
He said it had been a challenge to adjust to a two-piece ball and hard wickets after playing with a four-piece and on turf.
