President Ash Ansell said he would wait until May 11 before releasing details of its next race scheduled for Sunday May 31.
Victoria's state of emergency is due to expire on May 11 and stage three restrictions could be relaxed.
It may mean athletes are able to run together rather than individually.

"Because we've got such a gap between races, we're going to leave it until May 11," Ansell said.
"(We're waiting) until we hear what the state government has to say in regards to rules and regulations and how groups can gather."
Ansell said he didn't want to announce another virtual race when there was a possibility members could gather and run together.
WAC had 56 competitors compete in its six-kilometre virtual handicap race that finished on Sunday.
Zac Norton (21.05 minutes) was the fastest male runner and Rachel Ayres (23.09) was fastest female.
Steve Aberline won the handicap race ahead of Mel Kent and Peter Varley.
