A DEDICATION to training has helped Warrnambool rower Aaron Skinner break two world records at the Australian Indoor Rowing Championships.

The 28-year-old rowed 1082 metres in four minutes on the concept two ergometer to write his name into the history books in the 19-29 PR3 ID and PR3 overall classes.
Skinner claimed gold in the four minute erg, 2000 and 500 metres races at the indoor championships, which ran in eight locations across the country.
The WDEA employee's received confirmation of his records on Tuesday after all indoor results from around the world had been collated and compared.

His mother, Serina, said the achievement was "well deserved as he trains hard".
"He didn't realise what he had done but everyone including his parents, his rowing club and the people he has trained with were all excited about it. we're all over the moon at what he did."
"Aaron has always represented his club, his state and now his country with great pride and competitive skill," Nestles Rowing Club head coach Val Bertrand said.
"The Nestles Rowing Club is very proud of his achievements over such a long time. He is an inspiration to us all."
Skinner returns to training with to prepare for the Victorian Championships in February and the Australian titles in March.
