Serina said Aaron would implement the same training regime he used for Global Games to prepare for another national championships.
"He is happy to train and do all the training we throw at him particularity his father, who has to take him to the training venues," he said.
"Just before the Global Games we got him into crossfit and Diesel (Dionne Goyen) gave him some excellent training and he had half-an-hour a week of very intensive training with her for the two weeks before we left."
Serina said Aaron was very thorough with how he approached his indoor training program.
"He is quite good as he has a whiteboard set up with distances such as 500 (metres), 1000 and 2000 and you set the (ergo) machine up and he will do that distance," she said.
"He will then write that on the whiteboard and each time he will try and better his time. Having times written on the board has been a great help so he can see what he has to get to to get better."
Nestles Rowing Club president Tom Bertrand said the club was proud of Aaron's achievements at the global games.
"It's fantastic because Aaron is a credit to himself and the club," he said.
"He has been here since the inception of what was the disabled rowing and the very first night we held it he came and he has been here ever since and he has become a multiple Australian and Victorian title holder.
"He has stuck with it and reaped the rewards, which is fantastic."
