OUR Lady of Help Christian Primary School returned from Thursday's State Primary Track and Field Championships at Melbourne's Lakeside Stadium with a swag of medals.

Hilary Hannagan and Kayne Rae-Rentsch both walked away with bronze medals while the 12-13 boys relay team of Hunter Cross, Sam Rhodes, Callum Leahy and Rae-Rentsch secured a silver.
It's the second time in three years the four-runner team has secured a medal after they won bronze at last year's championships in the 11 boys age group.
Next year the team would have graduated and begun high school life.

Hannagan secured her medal in the triple jump and only just missed another in the long jump while Rae-Rentsch's other medal came in the 100 metres.
The 9-10 boys relay of Oliver Turner, Bryce Ryan, Jacob Scott and Max Carter would finish seventh in their final.
St Patrick's Camperdown's Ruby Darcy secured a silver in the triple jump with Hannagan, her Athletics South West training partner, close behind.
Woolsthorpe Primary's Fleur Mahony was the region's other medalist, securing a bronze in the high jump.
West Warrnambool, St Joseph's, Warrnambool, Allansford and District, Koroit, St Patrick's Koroit, Cobden and Mortlake also had students compete.
