The Lady Bay-based club will welcome the Victorian Inflatable Rescue Boat Titles for the first time over the Queen's Birthday long weekend on June 8 and 9.
WSLSC recently hosted the Victorian Senior and Youth Surf Life Saving Titles over the long weekend in March this year and from 2014-18 it hosted the Junior State Championships.
President Justin Houlihan said it was a bonus for the club, who recently secured two medals at the national titles, to secure the event.
"Our club is excited to be hosting the IRB State Titles," the Emmanuel College Assistant Principle said.
"We have solid relationships with Life Saving Victoria and also Warrnambool City Council and when we plan for these types of events, it makes it so much easier to conduct when you have that support."
Houilhan said Victoria's best IRB crews will travel to the south-west to provide hotly contested racing and a great spectacle at Lady Bay over the two-day event.
"The titles normally attract approximately 200 competitors and the event confirms that Warrnambool is a go to destination as far as major surf life-saving event," he said.
"At that time of the year we really don't know what the surf and weather will do, but for all motor sport enthusiasts this could offer something a bit different to events on land."
