A crowdfunding campaign has seen Schulz Organic Dairy raise more than $106,000.
Schulz Organic Dairy principal Simon Schulz said he was never sure the campaign would be successful but he was confident now was the time to move away from plastic to glass.
“We were always going to go down that path,” he said. “It just would have taken a bit longer to get there.”
Mr Schulz said the next step was to purchase the infrastructure needed to deliver the glass bottles onto the market. “It reaffirms everything that us and the industry are trying to do and that we’re moving in the right direction,” he said.
