The 27-year-old is hoping the inaugural Muscular Dystrophy Superhero Concert will attract hundreds of defenders of the universe.
The fundraiser, to be held at Warrnambool’s Lady Bay Resort, will include live music, prizes, raffles, tea, coffee, nibbles and merchandise from 7pm.
Mr Gillin said it was the first time the event would be held in public and the first since his brother Aaron passed away in October.
“The first two were held at home so Aaron could be involved,” he said. “Now that he passed away it made me more determined to make the event bigger to raise more awareness and money for Muscular Dystrophy.”
Musicians Gabby Steel, Michael Ferguson, Wade Northcott & Russell Moody will be performing at the event with all money raised going to Muscular Dystrophy Australia for their programs, services and research.
