Warrnambool police Acting Sergeant Danny Wright said the incident occurred on Friday after a minor car crash at the Fairy and Koroit Street roundabout.
He said the crash, between a Holden ute and Subaru sedan, occurred about 3pm.
“One of the occupants of the Subaru got out of the vehicle and attempted to exchange details with the driver of the utility,” Acting Sergeant Wright said. “Some words were exchanged and the driver of the utility left the scene with one of the occupants of the Subaru on the bonnet of the car.”
He said the female driver of the ute pulled into the nearby Warrnambool Magistrates Court car park with the other woman on bonnet of the car which was witnessed by a police officer standing outside court.
A number of independent witnesses who saw the incident had also come forward, he said.
He said the 25-year-old woman from Warrnambool was arrested and charged with reckless conduct endangering a person and other driving offences.
The woman was remanded in police custody and will appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday morning.
