A 31-YEAR-OLD Hamilton man who caused $50,000 damage to his public housing home and urged his dog to attack four policewomen is being held in custody.

Warrnambool police Sergeant Rex Habel said the man would appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Thursday for a bail/remand hearing.
The man had been living at the Hamilton home for about a year but he arrived at the property about 8.30pm on Tuesday and started yelling and screaming.
He threw things around the kitchen and bedrooms and smashed items for about three hours, before an ex-girlfriend removed him from the home about midnight.
The other occupant of the home reported the damage to police at 5.30pm Wednesday.
At 10pm police located the man and found a smashed toaster and other electrical appliances in the front yard.
The man urged his dog to attack four female police officers.
Inside the home police found extreme damage to the dwelling and it may be now unlivable.
There are large holes in walls, there was a bottle stuck in one wall, doors have been smashed and a number of floor-to-ceiling windows shattered.
The man was arrested and remanded in custody.
He is currently in the Warrnambool police station cells.
In Warrnambool a 28-year-old man who is slowly working out that buying drugs leaves him with little money to buy food is back in the police cells.
The man was fined in court last week for stealing food from shops.
But, last Thursday he was charged with being drunk, obscene behaviour and act prejudicial to the good running of a police jail.
He was found lying on the road at the intersection of Ryott Street band Worland Grove naked and then urinated in the police cells.
He was released on bail with a condition he comply with a 10pm to 7am curfew.
He was seen by police in public at 12.30am on Thursday morning, arrested for breaching his curfew and remanded to appear to court today for a bail/remand hearing.
