Demi Jade Nash, 25, previous of Vickers Drive, Warrnambool, was released on bail after appearing in the Geelong Magistrates Court this week to care for her sick father.
The Geelong Advertiser reported that her brother Joseph said Nash was due to return home as their father was facing cancer treatment.
He said she was also going to spend time with her six-year-old daughter, who until recently she had cared for full-time.
Magistrate Jonathan Klestadt said Ms Nash was in a lot of trouble, there seemed little defence and the drugs were destined for the prison system.
Ms Nash was granted bail until April 16 to live with her father in Warrnambool with strict conditions.
She had been charged with trafficking and possessing ice, possessing prescription drugs and driving while suspended.
Ms Nash was arrested early Saturday during a routine stop in Geelong.
Police found six balloons filled with ice and eight prescription medication tablets in her Mazda.
The court heard Ms Nash made admissions the drugs were bound for prison.
Ms Nash also told police she was using ice three times a week.
Warrnambool County Court judge Felicity Hampel made comments on Wednesday that drugs were far too prevalent in the prison system.
