Ben Dalton’s return to Hampden Football Netball League club South Warrnambool was confirmed on the club’s social media this morning.
Senior coach Mat Buck said the return of the Dalton name to the Roosters line up was a massive boost for his side.
“I’m really happy with how our list is shaping up and the way that the boys that have already been there are training and Ben is only going to compliment that, because he is a nice fit man and a quality player,” he told The Standard.
“We are looking forward to seeing him put on the jumper again and have a go.”
Dalton played most of his junior football with the Roosters and would be a handy addition to a senior side overflowing with talent from its junior ranks.
In his late teens Dalton moved up to Queensland and played football with Queensland Australian Football League side Morningside.
Upon his return to Victoria he had a short stint with west-Melbourne based club St Albans in the Western Region Football League.
Buck said he would watch how Dalton plays before deciding on his role in the side.
