South-west teenagers Fletcher Cozens and Ethan Boyd shine for Victorian Renegades in junior cricket match

EMERGING south-west cricketers Fletcher Cozens and Ethan Boyd highlighted their potential in a one-off clash between Victoria’s best country teenage talent.

The pair played for Victoria Renegades against Victoria Stars in an all-stars clash at Footscray on Sunday.

Cozens, who plays senior cricket for Hawkesdale and juniors for Koroit, top-scored with 52 in the Renegades’ 23-run loss.

He also took 1-6. Allansford-aligned Boyd took 1-25 in the under 14s clash.
