POLICE say it was lucky no one was injured after a crash at a ‘notorious intersection.’

Senior Constable Tom McLachlan said a furniture truck was travelling on the Darlington Road at Gnotuk when it attempted to turn right onto the the Princes Highway.
He said the truck collided with an oncoming Holden Colorado dual cab four-wheel-drive.
Senior Constable McLachlan said the 33-year-old male driver of the truck, his two male passengers and the 77-year-old male driver of the ute were assessed at the scene by paramedics and were uninjured.
He said the truck driver was from Melbourne and one of his passengers was treated for shock.
The driver of the Holden Colorado was from Camperdown.
“We just want people to take care on the roads,” Senior Constable McLachlan said.
“This is a notorious intersection.
“There is still a fair bit of holiday traffic on the roads.”
He said police and paramedics were called to the crash about 4pm and the Princes Highway, near the Darlington Road, was closed in both directions for about 40 minutes.
