Head of the organising committee Alistair McCosh has promised an adventure to remember.
“We are really excited about the course and the obstacles we have in place,” Mr McCosh said.
“There will be bigger mud pits, which will be a lot of fun.
“We have been well ahead in terms of preparation of the course this year which has helped add some extra touches.”
The Tower Hill Challenge was first held in 2014 and is a fundraiser for the Koroit Football Netball Club.
Mr McCosh said numbers for this year’s event were strong.
“Registrations have been pretty constant and there is always a bit of a rush late in the week,” he said.
“We are expecting about 550 come Saturday.”
Participants can sign up for a 15km, 6km or 3km leg.
The 3km distance is for juniors, with numbers in that category on the rise.
The event begins in Tower Hill at 8am.
