Saturday’s festival will be the second year the 12 Apostles Food Artisans group has hosted the event and the lawn next to the Timboon Railway Shed Distillery will be bursting with local produce.
Timboon Distillery’s Josh Walker said 12 Apostles Food Artisans members, as well as other local stallholders would have plenty to offer.
“It’s a great showcase of the passion, hard work and dedication of our member- producers who have all put plenty of blood, sweat and tears into their business ventures,” he said.
“Our event is all about the food. From cheese and chocolate, to olives and fudge, beer and whisky and more – it’s all made locally, from local products, by local employees.”
Josh Walker from the 12 Apostles Food Artisans said all the group’s member- producers would be showcased, in addition to some additional local stall holders.
Mr Walker said local musicians Peter Sharp and Tamara Hookway would provide a great atmosphere and he encouraged people to come along and stock up in time for the Christmas/New Year period.
“With live music and some other entertainment for children, there’ll be plenty to do and see and of course we’re all looking forward to talking to people about our products,” he said.
The event will run on Saturday, November 25 from 11am to 4pm in the lawn at the town’s distillery.
Entry to the event is by gold coin donation, which entitles people to a 12 Apostles Food Artisans bag.
