Gluchowska, a black belt in the martial art, hosted a seminar for south-west students before hitting the mats as part of a female-only self defence workshop at Warrnambool Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Warrnambool Brazlian Jiu Jitsu coach Matt Roussac said Gluchowska's visit had left a lasting impression.
The Polish-Australian brought eight female grapplers down for the workshop.
Roussac said learning a form of self defence like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was important.
"We got an insight into what it's like to train and compete at the top international level," Roussac said.
“It's massive to have someone with Livia's standing come to Warrnambool and run a seminar and female workshop. To receive the same calibre of training, members would have to travel to Melbourne."
