The Saint John’s Anglican Church Parish in Port Fairy will hold its annual Strawberry Fete on Sunday. The fete will be held in the church grounds from 10am to 2pm.
The star of the show will be the humble strawberry in many guises including fresh, jammed and with cream. A barbecue, fresh sandwiches, donuts, coffee and Devonshire teas will also be on the menu.
Entertainment will come in the form of musician Viv Fry and friends, a jumping castle, face-painting and stalls. The Port Fairy CFA will also be in attendance and there will be a tai chi demonstration. A spinning wheel will be in action and raffles with the major prize being shopping vouchers valued at $350.
