Teacher Melissa Davey said the school’s hands-on learning students assembled the one kilometre colour run course which consisted of donated tyres and hay bales. It included a rope bridge, made by the Hawkesdale Scout group, and a slip ‘n’ slide thanks to the Hawkesdale CFA who donated a truck and water.
“It was such an amazing and fun day, and we received a lot of positive comments from the parents, students and teachers,” Mrs Davey said.
Students participated in workshops including dance and pilates, mindfulness, team building, fitness and oral health.
