A MAN who works in Cranbourne and spends time with his family in Warrnambool has been placed on a community corrections order after pleading guilty to 22 charges, mostly relating to serious driving offences.

Tumohe Cherrington, 25, of Todd Street, Cranbourne West, appeared in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court and was placed on a 12-month community corrections order with conditions he do 150 hours of community work.
He also has to undertake assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and programs, was fined $1000 and ordered to pay $150 compensation.
Cherrington's charges included a range of serious driving matters as well as causing damage, assaults and failing to answer bail.
Police said Cherrington and his partner lost a young son to SIDS which led to a day of mourning.
Cherrington got drunk slashed tyres and caused other damage before police were called.
He slashed tyres at another time and was found drink driving at .156.
