Grassfire brought under control quickly by three trucks
A Country Fire Authority media spokeswoman said the fire broke out on the Cooramook School Road about 3pm.
“It was a grassfire due to a burn-off,” she said.
The spokeswoman said there was three trucks in attendance – two from the Purnim brigade and one from Grassmere.
“The fire was marked safe about 20 minutes after it started,” the spokeswoman said.
