The 2018 New Zealand Study Tour for young dairy farmers is seeking applications.

The eight-day tour funded by the Gardiner Dairy Foundation will provide young dairy farmers with the opportunity to gain a strategic understanding of the NZ dairy industry’s operations and cultivate leadership capabilities. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with representatives from the Federated Farmers of NZ.

Gardiner Dairy Foundation chief executive Mary Harney said the NZ Study Tour provided unsurpassed development opportunities.

Alistair Harris took part in the NZ Study Tour in 2017 and encouraged young members of the dairy industry to apply.

Applications for the tour close on Monday, October 16.
