The Bushfield-based club added to its decorated junior netball mantelpiece, swooping to snatch a four-goal thriller from Camperdown.
Eagles co-coach Louise Chow said she expected Camperdown to rise to the challenge and was thrilled with her players’ composure.
“We knew coming into it, even having beaten Warrnambool by 23 in the semi, that Camperdown always lift against us. It was always going to be hard for us,” she said.
