Warrnambool Toy Library now online

The Warrnambool Toy Library is welcoming a new phase of technology.

Thanks to four recent successful Victorian government grants, the volunteer-run children’s play hub has set up a new online system.

Warrnambool Toy Library vice-president Danielle Williamson said it was exciting to be digitally advancing.

“Twenty-first century here we come,” Ms Williamson said.

Volunteers have collated and photographed the toy collection, which now feature on the group’s website. Ms Williamson said this was the first time the group had both internet and EFTPOS and could offer online payments.

“It’s the first step in an ongoing process, an exciting process that began almost 40 years ago,” she said.
