Maddens Lawyers principal and personal injuries department head Gary Frost said his firm was processing two injured passengers’ claims for lump sums to be submitted to the Transport Accident Commission (TAC).
Both were injured in the collision at Pirron Yallock, near Colac, on July 13 last year.
“Anyone injured in the train accident should seek legal advice about their entitlement,” Mr Frost said.
A TAC spokeswoman confirmed 18 claims had been accepted as a result of the collision at Pirron Yallock, but was unable to provide further details.
