Forward Chris Keilar has succumbed to injury and will miss, joining Paddy Keane and Mark Shrubb as the absentees from the Dogs’ senior side.
However, the return of Luke Moutray, Tim Sheldon and Charlie McDonald is set to inject much-needed leadership into their ranks as they attempt to bounce back from a loss to East Warrnambool.
“We’re hopeful we can show a bit of resolve and bounce back this week,” Dennington coach Jake Rhodes said.
Old Collegians, meanwhile, has added forwards Josh Stapleton and Justin Lynch to its ranks as it vies to continue strong form against East Warrnambool.
First-gamer Harry Johns will debut as the sub, while Jacob Hetherington, Luke Hynes and Tim Edwards are out.
Warriors mentor Josh Reichman said Stapleton and Lynch would add “bite” to an already firing forward line.
“They’re experienced players who give us a bit of bite in our forward line,” he said.
“They both just missed last week so they’ll be right to go this week.”
Ladder leader Kolora-Noorat will tackle Timboon Demons without Luke Tebble (hamstring), Scott Judd (illness) and Bailey Kemp (knee).
The promotion of Martin Wynd from the Power’s reserves will bolster their forward half, while Sean Bourke and Luke McConnell are also set to return.
“I think they’ll all help us to replace those who have fallen out,” Power mentor Danny Finn said.
“Sean (Bourke) is right to go after missing last week and he gives us hardness around the ball.”
East Warrnambool is almost unchanged after a season-defining win over Dennington, with Tim Atkinson replacing Luke Hadden.
Timboon Demons has regained James Faulkner and Brad Hallyburton, while Luke and Tyson Osborne drop out.
“Luke (Osborne) has been doing a lot of work as a sub, we’ve played him where we can,” Demons coach Mick Hunt said.
Panmure will be bolstered by the addition of Ben Mahony, the brother of Paddy and Sam, who has returned to the south-west from Melbourne.
