Darcy was named as the sole specialist ruckman in the Dockers’ extended 25 man squad for their clash with Geelong at Simonds Stadium.
Fremantle is still without its All-Australian ruckman Aaron Sandilands (hamstring) and has lost Jon Griffin to a calf injury.
The Dockers named Darcy, who re-signed with the club earlier this month after arriving via pick 38 in the 2016 draft.
Darcy grew up at South Purrumbete and played for Hampden league club Cobden.
He graduated to TAC Cup ranks with Geelong and went to boarding school in Melbourne.
