“We probably didn’t get our match-ups right with them at the start and I think their conversion rate was a bit better than ours,” she said.
“The feed into (Koroit shooter Nell Mitchell) was too easy, not enough pressure, and we weren’t very accurate with our goalling.
“It was a big margin, but it was about six goals per quarter – that’s three turnovers.
“I’ve looked at scores in the past; you need to be shooting 11-14 a quarter to be going alright. You can’t win unless you get those scores (and we didn’t).”
Ankle injuries continue to plague the Blues, with Mahni Wright hurting her ankle again after she did a few weeks ago, while Chantelle Moloney was playing after hurting her ankle last week.
