Weir's satellite foreman Jarrod McLean spoke in glowing terms of using the beaches around Warrnambool for training purposes following the victory over Hooked and Rhythm To Spare.
“We can keep horses fit and sound by using the beaches,” McLean said.

Burning Front took his stake earnings to more than $1.25 million with the victory.
Weir's Warrnambool stable also had success with Kenedna in the $180,000 Magic Millions Roses at Doomben on Saturday.
Aloisia won a $100,000 two-year-old race at Flemington for Winslow-raised trainer Ciaron Maher.
