Warrnambool is set for a weekend of laughter if a bunch of travelling comedians have any say in it.

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is taking to the stage at the Lighthouse Theatre on Saturday night.

Australia’s largest comedy festival will feature a cast of Australian stars, talented newcomers and international performers.

Performers include Triple J RAW Comedy Finalist Sam Taunton, award-winning Canadian-American comedian DeAnne Smith, India’s stand-up funnyman Daniel Fernandes, Singaporean Sharul Channa and Facebook favourite Dane Simpson.

Local group Dirty Angel Comedy will follow the laughs with an afternoon of stand-up on Sunday at Warrnambool’s Mozart Hall.
