Guest speaker Lieutenant Matt Laxton urged attendees to take time to notice and visit the graves of those who have served in wartime.
“I cant define our national values, but old and young, at home and overseas, the Great War placed a burden and cut scars upon this country not seen since.”
Camperdown RSL president Alan Fleming said at least 400 people had attended a dawn service, and close to 800 the daytime service.
