Yoga instructor Emma Cust led 10 participants through a range of poses and stretches promoting strength and flexibility.
Resident leader and student Lillian Cummins, 19, said she loved the session. “Doing yoga before a stressful day of work and study is really good,” she said.
Mrs Cust said the students would be more awake and have better concentration for their classes. “You're more mentally and physically prepared for it in the morning if you can get out of bed,” she said.
Earth Hour, celebrated worldwide on March 25, sees communities switch off lights to show support for a brighter future for the planet.
