Lexi had her head shaved on Wednesday as part of The World’s Greatest Shave.
“I’ve always wanted to do it,” Lexi said. “I’m a bit scared. I don’t remember not having hair. You kind of get attached to it but it’s for a good cause and I have to keep reminding myself of that.”
Fellow nursing student Libby Gracie coloured her hair for the Leukaemia Foundation fund-raiser and to support her “brave” friend. “I don’t think I could shave my hair off. Hopefully one day I’ll be brave enough.”
South West TAFE Pure Academy hairdressing students shaved and coloured the two students hair, raising $300. To donate go to worldsgreatestshave.com
