The Saints made the most of being the first to bat, using captain Fletcher Cozens’ score of 40 retired to post 150 from 41 overs.
Wesley-CBC fought admirably but could only manage 119 in response.
Saints coach David Bell said the players were thrilled to take the win.
He hailed their batting effort as the most crucial factor.
“We were runners-up last year, and a lot of the boys were disappointed not to get the chocolates then,” Bell told The Standard.
“They were happy. They don’t play in front of a crowd on a Saturday morning, and today they had a good crowd here watching.
“We kept making runs. Making runs is how you end up winning a game of cricket. Making more than your opponent.”
