One Warrnambool shopper could win $1 million as part of the city council’s latest business promotion campaign to invigorate shops during the central business district revitalisation works.
Customers who spend $30 or more at participating Liebig or Koroit Street businesses will receive an entry into the draw to take out the major prize.
Mayor Kylie Gaston said it was another opportunity to draw shoppers to the CBD during stage one of the city centre project.
“The fabulous shops, cafes, restaurants and professional services already provide many wonderful reasons to shop in Liebig and Koroit streets,” Cr Gaston said.
“Now there is even more incentive to check out all that the city centre has to offer.”
It's the biggest thing to have happened in Liebig Street in 50 years.

She acknowledged there would be disruptions during the construction phase.
"I know it's going to be a little bit difficult at times but I've got great confidence our community will continue to support Liebig Street traders and I'm sure the end result is going to be worth it,” she said.
Daisy Boutique owner Maree Wills urged shoppers to take advantage of free parking in the Parkers car park when visiting CBD shops.
Councillor Robert Anderson said the promotion was the biggest thing to have happened in Liebig Street in 50 years.
