Crowds of all ages filled the 11.5 hectare site on the outskirts of Warrnambool sampling an array of rural wares.
The three-day event celebrating the rural industry offered live entertainment, food stalls, farming equipment, financial advisors and livestock.
Event organiser Sungold Field Days chairman Tony Rea said although it was difficult to estimate, he was pleased with Wednesday’s numbers. “It was great to see a huge crowd this morning. It’s hard to say how many but it’s been a steady, consistent number through the gates.”
