A BRUNCH as part of the Classic is at the Flying Horse Bar and Brewery in Warrnambool from 9.30am to 11.30am featuring master of ceremonies Wade Aunger, Robbie Farr, Harli White, Greg Hodnett and others.
THE Warrnambool AFL 9s is at Davidson Oval, on Caramut Road, from 5.30pm.
WARRNAMBOOL’S Lake Pertobe will host the summer night markets from 4.30pm until 8.30pm with live music from Bruce Campbell and the Sax Man.
SATURDAY
THE Standard’s Fan Appreciation Day – part of the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic – is at the Flying Horse Bar and Brewery between 10am and noon.
HUNDREDS of trucks, motorbikes and cars will be on show at the Koroit Truck Show at Victoria Park. The Truckie Sprint, a 50-metre dash, also returns along with children’s entertainment and trade and craft stalls.
PEOPLE can gather for Port Fairy’s first official Park Run from 7.30am at Russell Clarke Reserve. The five-kilometre run and walk gets underway at 8am. Pre-registration is required.
THE South-West Gaelic Football 7s social day is at Macarthur Cricket Oval from 5pm followed by an Irish night at Macarthur pub. No experience required.
PEOPLE are invited to the Keep our Sea plastic free clean-up day on Saturday as part of the Summer by the Sea series. The event runs from 10am until noon at the harbour boat ramp at Viaduct Road, Warrnambool.
THE Shipwreck Coast Motocross Open two-day event begins Saturday from 7am until 4pm at Lake Gillear in Allansford.
SUNDAY
THE Artery in Warrnambool will host its annual garden party at the Timor Street site on Sunday. The event will feature a bar, games, music and an open mic session from 1pm.
CORANGAMITE Shire presents Shakespeare’s Macbeth in the Camperdown Botanic gardens from 1pm on Sunday. Live music follows at 3pm.
PORT Fairy’s Fiddlers Green will host a free country music concert between 2.30pm and 5pm as part of the town’s Moyneyana Festival.
GLENELG Shire presents its Bumper Soccer Activity on Portland’s foreshore on Sunday between 2pm and 4pm. The free event is for children aged eight and 16. No bookings required.
LOADED Guns and Virtual Dogs will premier at the Killara Centre, Camperdown from 7.30pm.
PORT Campbell hosts its summer markets from 9am until 2pm.
